José Castel

          José Castel, a native of Jamaica, helped receive children transported through Jamaica as part of Operation Peter Pan. José, who was 17 at the time, and his family provided the Jewish children with a place to stay and made them feel welcome. José now resides in Philadelphia and is a retired doctor.
