Marcos Kerbel

          Professor Marcos Kerbel came to the United States through Operation Peter Pan. He moved around the US, first to Miami, then to Los Angeles, and finally to Atlanta, where he eventually earned his degree from Georgia State University. He now teaches finance at Florida International University and is a member of the Pedro Pan Group in Miami Beach.

 

          Marcos was the most knowledgeable person I had the opportunity to speak with. He has  in-depth knowledge of Cuban Jewish history and is involved in Miami’s Cuban Jewish community.  Marcos remains in contact with many former children of Operation Peter Pan.
